La Parrilla, El Pinto 2022

La Parrilla is a collaboration between Hacienda La Parrilla and natural wine importers, Les Caves de Pyrène; the team set out on a mission to create excellent value wines, from sustainably grown grapes and produced as naturally as possible. The sun-kissed vineyards of La Parrilla are part of a 500ha estate in the San Jose del Valle, 35km inland from Jerez, in beautiful countryside close to the Sierra de Cádiz mountains. El Pinto 2022 is made from 100% organically grown Palomino, which in this part of the world is usually destined for sherry. However, El Pinto is gorgeously dry, citrussy and salty white, with notes of green apple, lemon zest and blossom. A vibrant acidity balances the wine and makes it a great pair with all kinds of seafood or soft cheese.
